“I joined the ‘Land Your Dream Job in Fashion’ course right in the height of the covid-19 pandemic because I was feeling disheartened, lost and demotivated for my future post-university. “Despite doing a ‘relevant’ degree (textile design at CSM), I’ve never been quite sure what job within the industry I wanted let alone how to actually get that job! “I had just graduated and found myself stressing not only because it’s so hard to get a good CV and plan in place when applying for jobs, but also because I was also trying to do this during a pandemic. I had tried so many variations of CV’s and struggled with the writing aspect of it. I was left wondering why I was getting no responses from job applications. I found myself applying for almost any job I could find as I was getting so down about not even receiving any responses, and thought I wanted to better my odds by applying for more (as I was taught to do at university).

If you’re considering joining Land Your Dream Job in Fashion, I would say it is so worth it not only to get the valued information but also to learn about employers’ perspectives and utilise that information when applying, going for interviews and even after getting a job. The course is great if you feel like you are struggling and need a bit of a routine and a push as it’s easy to slip into bad habits. So friendly that I always looked forward to the lessons and I NEVER got that ‘ughhh i don’t want to do this work’ feeling I usually get when it comes to CV and written work!”
